The workshop brings together researchers exploring quantum computing and cryptographic security, focusing on (1) post-quantum cryptography and quantum functionalities with computational security, and (2) quantum networks and their cryptographic applications.

Quantum Security Workshop

The Quantum Security Workshop is a pioneering event in Scotland introducing stakeholders to quantum-secure technologies through an accessible, hybrid format. A collaboration between QURECA and the University of Edinburgh’s Quantum Software Lab, it combines industry insight with academic expertise to explore the risks of quantum-era cyberthreats and practical steps for implementing quantum-hardened securities.

Quantum Machine Learning and Hamiltonian Simulation School

This LMS (London Mathematical Society) Research School aimed at PhD students and early stage researchers focuses on quantum machine learning (QML) and quantum Hamiltonian simulations, both promising research areas with rich mathematical structures.
