Sjoerd Beentjes is a Chancellor's Fellow in the School of Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh, and affiliated with the MRC Human Genetics Unit. His research focusses on developing techniques in causal machine learning and non-parametric statistics for applications to population biomedicine.
