The new round of quantum hubs aims to secure the UK's leadership in quantum technology

Quantum Software Lab is delighted to be part of the recent +£100m announcement in support of UK world leading Quantum Technology Hubs. QSL will play a leading role in Quantum Software, developing tools vital for scaling hardware, from quantum error correction to protocols for secure distributed quantum computing, quantum-HPC integration, and hybrid quantum-classical algorithms. Congratulations to our colleagues at the QCI3 Hub led by Prof Dominic O'Brien and Prof Andrew Daley at the University of Oxford.

Further, QSL is delighted to partner with the IQN Hub to investigate quantum learning theory and novel protocols for secured multi party computing that combine both classical and quantum communication. Congratulations to our colleagues Prof Gerald Buller and Prof Alessandro Fedrizzi at Heriot-Watt University.

Importantly, we'd like to thank EPSRC and colleagues across the UK NQTP that have been instrumental at building the momentum of the UK's already world leading Quantum Technology ecosystem and for providing the much needed investment that will continue to sustain our position of global competitiveness Learn more about the Quantum Hubs: https://www.ukri.org/news/five-hubs-launched-to-ensure-the-uk-benefits-from-quantum-future/
