Metrics for quantum computers
Quantum simulations for materials,
I'm a PhD student at the Quantum Software Lab in the University of Edinburgh, starting in September 2024. I graduated from University College London with a BSc on Computer Science and an MSc on Quantum Technologies. From 2021 to 2024, I had been working at the National Physical Laboratory researching on quantum algorithms. My main area of interest is to explore the practical usefulness of quantum computers in real-life applications, and I have worked on different fields including quantum machine learning, classical machine learning for quantum devices, and benchmarking and characterisation of quantum computers. My PhD research focuses on quantum algorithms for material simulations.
