QSL Welcomes New PhD Students as Quantum Informatics' Doctoral Training Partnership Programme Kicks Off
As the new academic semester begins, the Quantum Software Lab (QSL) is excited to welcome a fresh cohort of PhD students to Edinburgh as part of a EPSRC-funded Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) programme. Maria Bahna, Kyle Campbell, Mario Herrero Gonzalez, Maria Gragera Garces, David McKey, Tamas Noszko, Adithya Sireesh, Liam Veeder-Sweeney, Tommy Williams, Kim Worrall, and Weixi Zhang, will begin a four-year journey, researching a wide range of topics within Quantum Informatics. This prestigious programme, directed by Professor Chris Heunen in the School of Informatics, provides multidisciplinary supervision in collaboration with the Schools of Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy, and Engineering. The DTP students will engage in cutting-edge research within a dynamic and supportive academic environment that encourages collaboration across disciplines.
