The Quantum Software Lab at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, is excited to announce the availability of at least seven fully funded PhD by research positions in the field of Quantum Computing

Selected candidates will become part of an interdisciplinary cohort, developing a deep understanding of foundational principles in quantum computing, quantum information, quantum software development, and mathematical modelling tailored to quantum sciences. This prestigious program includes integrated studies in Quantum Informatics, featuring a customised residential programme at the National Quantum Computing Centre. Your research project may focus on a wide array of applications, from particle physics to quantum computer architecture engineering, mathematical fundamentals, and interfacing with high-performance computing.
