About the event
This one-day workshop aims to bring together researchers from quantum computing, machine learning, and life sciences to explore how QML methods can be applied to biological problems. The workshop will not focus solely on algorithmic novelty; it will also emphasise problem-driven model design, realistic hybrid quantum-classical workflows, and the evaluation of where quantum approaches may offer advantages or new scientific insights.
The programme combines introductory and domain-specific perspectives with a case study on applying quantum machine learning to cancer genomics, in which spatial and cellular interactions are modelled using a quantum architecture.
*The agenda will be shared shortly.
